New Addition to the family
Meet Baron Davis Murphy, the newest addition to the Murphy family. Baron is an 8-week of Chiweenie - that's a dachsund/chihuahua mix. Isn't he adorable!! Well he looks cute but he already beginning to destroy the house!! Ryan and I have never had a puppy, atleast not that we were responsible for, so we are learning how to take care of him, train him, and all that fun stuff. His big brother Darcy thinks he likes Baron but he's not completely sure. He would like to play rough with him but Baron is still a baby and can't play too rough.

Sicko
Well I don't have much to blog right now cause I'm sick. I guess its inevitable when its freezing cold outside, you always leave the house with wet hair, and you spend your day cooped up in a room with 120 snotty teenagers. Anyway, being sick isn't the bad part. Its that I only had one sick day left for the year and I used it yesterday. So today I had to work even though I should have been in bed...but such is life. I have tomorrow off to go to a foreign language instruction conference, so atleast I won't have to teach. Hopefully I will feel better by Friday. Its mostly just a sore throat and congestion...I'm not really sure what it is I have....

Baby Dino's birthday party
Happy birthday Baby Dino. Ryan turned 26 today. Wow. He's so old... Just kidding. Anyway, we had a little family birthday party for Ryan last night since today was Friday and we didn't want to do much on Friday night. My parents came over to our apartment and we had tacos (Ryan's favorite) and opened presents. My present to Ryan really surprised him - I got him Madden 08 for PC and a Playstation controller so he can play. He loves it Then we had white cake with sprinkles in the frosting and two kinds of ice cream, pecan prailines and cream and chocolate peanut butter (Ryan's favorite ice cream).! Then we played a board game my parents brought called the Farming game. The board looks a lot like monopoly but you try to build your farm by buying hay, wheat, cows, and fruit. You also have to draw Farmer's Fate and Operating Expenses cards which have things like "equipment breakdown, pay $3000"! The party was really fun but I know Ryan missed his family in California. I guess we'll be moving back there soon though, so no worries. Feliz cumpleaños Baby!!
